Billy Joel, one of the most legendary musicians to ever grace Rock n’ Roll is appearing in Buffalo. This is the first time Joel has come to Buffalo in ten years, with his show taking place at the New Era Field. Famous for hosting the Buffalo Bills, this field will become a venue for the rock star on August 15th, 2020. The last time he appeared in Buffalo was in 2010 at the KeyBank Center with Elton John. Billy Joel hasn’t played the New Era Field Venue in 26 years, giving local fans something exciting to look forward to.
Those wanting to get access to their tickets early can purchase them through TicketMaster. Pre-ordering these tickets a year in advance requires members to use an American Express Card when per-sale tickets going on sale on November 18th. General tickets for the public go on sale on November 22nd and it should be noted that this event will congest the TicketMaster website. This could potentially make it difficult to purchase the Billy Joel tickets immediately and it is recomended that those interested continually refresh to get priority access to the tickets.

No rock n’ roll star has accomplished the same heights as Billy Joel.
Other notable accomplishments for Billy Joel include receiving the Library of Congress Gershwin Prize. This prize honours artists for their lifetime achievements in promoting the arts and understanding of culture. He’s also won the ASCAP Centennial Award, which is handed out every one hundred years. This award is provided to artists who inspired multiple new generations. Billy Joel has also acquired the Kennedy Center Honors Award, Six Grammy Awards and the infamous Grammy Legend Prize. Billy is also a part of the Songwriter’s Hall of Fame, the Rock n’ Roll Hall of Fame, received multiple Tony’s and NY Emmy Awards. He holds more titles as a musician than anyone else in his genre.
