The Tennessee Titans will be looking for their 4th win this season as they take to the road to face the Buffalo Bills on Sunday afternoon at New Era Field in an action-packed AFC battle. The Titans claimed a marvellous 26-23 victory against Philadelphia in week 4, while Buffalo will return after a difficult 22-0 loss on the road against the Packers in Week 4. These two teams last clashed in 2015 where Buffalo claimed a 14-13 victory.
Titans Win Against Eagles
The Titans will do everything they can to claim their 4th consecutive victory. Marcus Mariota was sensational in Week 4, collecting 344 passing yards with one interception and two touchdowns. Derrick Henry managed to contribute 24 rushing yards, leaping past Dion Lewis as the leader in rushing with 163 yards. Corey Davis is the top receiver for the Titans with 161 receiving yards in Week 4, bringing his total up to 312 receiving yards for the year. Titans’ defence experienced loads of trouble against the passing game of Philadelphia last week, surrendering 348 passing yards in total. The Titans are currently ranked in 12th position in terms of pass defence and are averaging 18.8 points which places them in 28th position overall.
Bills Lose Against Green Bay
The Bills couldn’t claim their second consecutive victory last week against the Packers, losing 22-0 on the road. Josh Allen was unable to find a rhythm where he only recorded 15 passing yards along with two interceptions. He has accumulated a total of 666 passing yards with four interceptions and two touchdowns for the year. LeSean McCoy returned for action in Week 4, but won’t be back in Week 5 as he still isn’t 100%. Zay Jones accumulated another 38 receiving yards, bringing his total up to 144 receiving yards for the season. Bills’ offence is extremely unpredictable this year, so it’s difficult to say how they’ll perform against the Titans this weekend. Their rush defence has been their greatest power which is currently ranked in 11th position in the NFL. Scoring 12.5 points on average, the Bills are ranked in 31st position in the NFL. They are also allowing 26.5 points on average, ranking them 20th within the NFL.
Winning Bet Prediction
It’s unfortunate, but if you are a betting man, it looks like the Titans will win this AFC clash on Sunday. The Titans managed to defeat Jacksonville 9-3 during their Week 3 clash which was followed by an incredible 26-23 win over the Eagles in Week 4. The Bills performed poorly in Week 4 with a devastating 22-0 loss against the Packers, and they will likely have the same issue against Tennessee’s defence in Week 5. The Titans have an extremely solid pass defence which is limiting their opponents to a mere 242 passing yards per match, and Josh Allen as the quarterback will have a difficult time moving the ball around in the air.
